Responds to student questions and concerns. Understanding of demands on a students life outside of class. Assignments criteria could have been a bit more detailed. Provides plenty of material. Rarely, if ever, available to meet with students in person. I get the impression her in-person classes are far more rewarding than an online class.Rate My Professors ↗
Absolutely fantastic. I couldn't care less about weather and climate, but Monica made me care. She is the most fun teacher I've had thus far and suspect she will be at the end of my college career. Monica is great; she's enthusiastic about her subject and clearly loves to teach. It's obvious that she wants her students to do the best they can and is very available/approachable. Very entertaining class and wonderful teacher. Monica is always upbeat and excited about teaching. She will do anything from dancing to doing balloon demonstrations to get you excited about the weather. Her passion for weather is contagious and makes the class fun! Class is a lot harder than it should be for a 100-level. She says the text is optional, but most quiz questions come straight from the book so read it anyway. Can be unclear during lecture -- talks about a lot that isn't relevant to the course, but is very helpful and nice. Not an easy A if you're just taking it for the science credit.Rate My Professors ↗
