Lectures were exhausting but he organized them very well and was very good at providing examples for each problem/concept/etc. Homework and tests accurately reflected what we learned in lecture. He is generous with grading and will curve/add points if he notices a general class trend. For ex, on our final exam, he gave everyone an extra 10 pts.Rate My Professors ↗

Mitchell was the perfect kind of professor for me- he did lots of different examples during class, he allowed note sheets for exams, and he was always well prepared for class. Go to discussion! This class is everything you would expect, and the grade you get heavily relies on how much you care. The professor has the attitude that he teaches and if you come and learn you get a good grade and if you don;t you do poorly. He's very fair.
