The professor is friendly and very knowledgeable and passionate about the subjects taught in this course, but he does not know how to teach the material to students with very little immunological background and his exams are poorly designed. This class is a pretty easy A even if you get a 0 or negative points on an exam.Rate My Professors ↗

Take this class. You won't learn anything, and the exams are obnoxious, but the curve is out of this world. You don't have to attend class, probably shouldn't bother trying to study for exams, and likely won't have to take final. Professor is awful at teaching, but to his credit, he seems very knowledgeable and passionate about immunology.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Malkovsky is very approachable outside of class for questions. His biggest flaw is his exam logic. The lectures are VERY content heavy, and rather interesting, but not much of the material is tested. Exams are all true and false, with a guessing penalty. Very intelligent guy, just doesn't know how to structure a classRate My Professors ↗

Do not, DO NOT take this class. The online take-home is a thing of the past. This is the first semester that we have to take the quizzes in-class, and the time given is impossible (1.5 hrs). I wish I had dropped the class immediately, but thought it would be doable. You do not learn, you pray that you find a SMALL amount of answers online.Rate My Professors ↗
Quality 1/5Difficulty 4/5
This class is absolutely the worst class I've taken at the UW. LITERALLY nothing on exams in covered in lecture, and 90% of the class doesn't attend lecture after the first day. Exams are all take-home, T/F but questions are ambiguous and way above the level of the content for an introductory immunology class. DO NOT TAKE! Ruined my GPA :(Rate My Professors ↗
