Michael is a caring professor & brilliant lecturer. The content is, by nature, tricky, but he does a good job of contextualizing everything, breaking it down and providing practice problems. Michael is a phenomenal professor and I enjoyed his class. He cares a lot about his students learning real-world skills, not just teaching out of a book. Prints all handouts which is very convenient. I really, really liked Gofman. He is super passionate about finance and this class, really cares about student understanding, does a great job teaching the concepts and, more importantly for me, the applications of those concepts. There are only 2 exams, & 9-10 group based assignments that are extremely helpful (but at times can be difficult).Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Gofman is a great professor. Prints out the powerpoints for all the lectures to give to students. Really takes the time to make sure students understand the concepts. Also, doesn't just teach out of a textbook. He teaches really valuable, relevant topics. Lots of work, midterm was predictable and final was impossible, but curved .Rate My Professors ↗
