Dimmick is a chill cool guy. Teaching wise, he talks himself in circles for hours and you probably still wont know what tf hes asking you to write. I'm a good student, I made an A in eng 1302 but in 1301(his class) I made a B. Not too much of a difference, but this class is more confusing and difficult than it really should be.Rate My Professors ↗
This was the worst professor I've ever had. He assigned the most bogus assignments, had no clear directions despite pages and pages of instructions. He talked himself in circles. Then, after not explaining anything, he'll refuse to give you passing grade until you've re-done it 3 to 5 times. What should have been a breeze was a nightmare.Rate My Professors ↗
Dimmick is a nice guy but extremely unclear in his project explanations. Just come in with something and THEN he'll explain what he really wants. Gets annoying, but doable. Uses technology such as iMovie instead of writing papers. Kind of grades on favorites, so don't give him crap about the assignments and you'll be fine.Rate My Professors ↗
Dimmick is a nice guy, but don't take his class. Compared to other english 100 classes, you will have to put in a lot more work to get the same grade. He is helpful but his projects are really tedious, involved, and confusing. If he emails you it will be 10 pages long. You CANT read his handwriting. Compared to the other English 100 sections, this was very difficult. The entire semester of writing was all based on music theory. It really seems more like an advanced course, not introductory.
