Somehow one of the most unclear lecturers I've had. The lectures drag and leave students confused, and his quiz demonstrated that.

Jones is one of the more organized professors to teach 610. The matlab assignment is no longer for credit so you can focus on the concepts involved instead of getting the code right. He is able to explain things coherently and has clear notes posted online as well. One of the few to finish lecturing on time without getting behind schedule.

Professor Jones is extremely knowledgeable about his field. As long as you take advantage of office hours, he's very willing to help. Not an easy course, but definitely worth taking with him.

Honestly the most boring lecture you will ever attend. Tried teaching physiology in electrical engineering concepts (circuitry). I'm lucky I had taken the course previously with a different lecturer or I would have been screwed. They had to curve an exam for the first time in Phys 335 history because everyone was clueless

Absolutely terrible class. He clearly has no interest in interacting with humans, as he faces the board the entire time and scurries back to his lab when class is done. Also, he only teaches 10 classes, yet he assigns a 50 page homework assignment- all to be done in MATLAB coding. Since when is that OK? Avoid him at all costs.
