Madame D. is a wonderful teacher. She is a hard-er grader but it is for your own learning and best interest if you are wanting to become more fluent in the French language. There is lots of literature (poems, stories, novels) that you must read in order to know what's going on. She's nice and wants to help when she can.Rate My Professors ↗

One of the sweetest people you will ever meet. Assigns a lot of reading - easy to get by in class without doing so but you have to keep a reading journal which she grades at the end of the semester. Cares about you and your success, not the easiest grader at times but well-thought of overall. Definitely would take her again.Rate My Professors ↗

I love her! She is native French, which is really useful for listening practice, and speaks clearly and at a pace by which it's easy to understand her. My French has improved a lot this semester even though the class is focused on literature as opposed to grammar. Looking forward to taking a class with her in the future!Rate My Professors ↗

Martine is wonderful. I found her very easy to understand and her native french really helped my overall comprehension in general. She's kind and it seems like she cares for her students. There is a decent amount of work involved (though, to be expected with higher level courses). I recommend her and plan to take another course with her!Rate My Professors ↗

One of the kindest and most helpful professors I've encountered. Corrects even the shortest of assignments with lots of helpful notes. Tries her best to make sure all students understand the material. Occasionally difficult to understand since she is native French but it is also helpful to hear as much native French as possible. Great professor.Rate My Professors ↗
