Marko requires a lot of work from his students but the work is truly helpful in understanding the material. The exams were not all that hard and he is very fair with the curve and also allowing corrections on certain problems. He made himself very available in office hours and was always willing to answer any questions I had.Rate My Professors ↗
Marko was not a great instructor and made the material overly complicated. Exams required quite a stretch of your knowledge with weird word problems and prompts. Exams were hard to study for because lectures were not organized and the review problems he provided never came with solutions. Too many exams for amount of material covered.Rate My Professors ↗
This was the hardest class I have ever taken. I completely understood the topics that he taught and said that would be on the tests, but then he just twists it and makes the tests literally impossible. Worst teacher I've ever had. He is knowledgeable but has no grasp of instructing whatsoever. He is very rude and unhelpful. I once asked a question of him, and he laughed in my face that I did not know the answer to it. His written homework assignments are the hardest math problems I've completed in my life and not relevant to class.Rate My Professors ↗
This class was honestly the hardest class I have ever taken. Marko is a really nice guy but not a good teacher at all. He means well but is so bad at explaining the material. He is incredibly smart but makes even the simplest concepts impossible to understand because he isn't able to dumb it down for the class to understand. I would not take agin.Rate My Professors ↗
Team homework - Annoying but interesting. Individual homework - difficult, but good system. Tests - ridiculously hard, but fairly curved. Extra credit - quite a bit of it, take advantage of it.
