If you want to work on Wall Street and in IB, you definitely should take this course. Professor Palmer knows IB well from working in it. If you are recruiting for banking and have prior knowledge coming in, the class won't be too bad. No busy work and all assignments help you learn content. Pitchbook takes time so plan ahead. Midterm is fairly easy

Thought she was great. Very interesting, sometimes challenging, course. She is very accessible and you can tell she would really love for all her students to succeed. I enjoyed the course, and I would highly recommend taking it with her. (Pretty sure she's the only one who teaches it) Grading is generous and a mixture of things.

Marisa is so kind, os warm-hearted. She is willing to help you all the time. I am not going to lie to you, FIN420 is a tough course. There is no shortcut, you have to put 100% efforts. But you will learn a lot from it. I believe FIN420 is the best course of WSB, which is taught by a wonderful lecturer. Take it for sure, Marisa won't let you down.

The best finance class you take at WSOB. Marisa is a different level. This class will boost your practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge. You will learn highly-demanded financial modeling skills, financial statements analysis, working with financial terminals, and much more. The class is hard but rewarding.
