Clear and engaging lecturer, I enjoyed going to his lectures. He wants everyone to love genetics like he does. If you do the readings before class his lectures are very easy to follow.

I really enjoyed learning from Dr. Wolman! You could tell that he really has a passion for genetics and that he wants to see his students succeed.

He explains difficult concepts so well, and helps solidify content with a little review before lecture (still study up). He goes a little fast through content, but comfortable enough where you can keep up in class. Very organized, well spoken, and my favorite of the 151 professors.

One of the best professors (and classes) I have had at UW. The exams are short answer which requires you to have a good understanding of the material so I feel like I learned a lot from. Take good notes in class - exams are open note! Always willing to meet outside of class to answer questions and chat about his research. Best professor ever!
