He is a very fair professor but expects you to do the very long readings and always attend class. You don't need to participate but it's super awkward when nobody does. There are 2 essays and a final group project. The material/readings can be boring if you are not interested in this topic. He is an easy grader and passionate about the subject.Rate My Professors ↗
I have Professor Hanukai for Slavic 266. He is one of my favorite professors by far. I am a shy student and I do not like to participate in class discussions, however, Professor Hanukai never cold-calls and grades participation according to the attendance of the class.Rate My Professors ↗
I adored Maksim! He's really serious, but he's very modest & is always willing to answer questions, help, etc. You can only miss three classes (there's a sign in sheet), so that was rather painful. You're expected to do a lot of readings, but only 3 shorter papers. Lit is not my strong suit, so this was more challenging for me.Rate My Professors ↗
