Professor Acker is simply fantastic! The course is difficult due to the material, but she is super accessible and supportive and does everything she can to help you if you seek help. I would even say UW's Business School is blessed to have her!

Best professor I have ever had at UW

Amazing! very enthusastic and you can tell shes very inteligent

Lindsay is amazing. There's an online textbook but you don't need to read it because she puts everything on the lecture slides (which are fully on Canvas). Lindsay cares a lot and makes herself very available. Great explanations and lots of examples/practice - overall the class was way better than I expected

I liked Professor Acker a lot! She had great material prepared for us and did an excellent job of explaining. Homework was participation-based and exams were open note. I never felt that anything was unfair.

She is seriously the best! I enjoyed the content. At first the class is challenging because it is very different material. If you review and print out ALL powerpoint examples and homework problems, you should do decent on the exams (open note). She is willing to help you learn if ask. She make the class fun and she is a very sweet person!!

Lindsay is one of my favorite professors. She walks through lectures in such an easy to understand way, giving real life examples. She really cares about her students and their learning. I didn't think I would like fundamentals of taxation, but after taking Lindsay's class, I decided I would like to work in tax. She's the best!

Lindsay is amazing. She had to do partnership tax online this semester. Every week it was the same pattern: Monday watch a lecture video, tuesday do HW, Friday take a quiz. Her quizzes and exams were on a time crunch and the averages were always high, so there was little of a curve. But, she is a superior lecturer and very caring and understanding

Accounting 329 with Lindsay was great! You don't really need to read the textbook because certain sections we don't need to know for class. Her powerpoints pretty much contain what you need to know. Beware that exams are a bit hard and you feel like there's not enough time to do calculations. Homework is simple, once a week. Just ask questions.

Lindsay is great. Tax topics is kind of a random assortment of different topics. Despite this, Lindsay is an incredible lecturer. The workload is fair and nice. She also delivers the material in a concise but clear/understandable manner. Tests are worth a lot. Dont let that scare you. If you put your effort in, youll still succeed

Lindsay is awesome. She's taught the only accounting class I've ever enjoyed and made the material really engaging. Everything seems extremely applicable and she does a great job of taking her time to explain things. She makes sure that we know we can always be in contact with her if we have questions and her exams/quizzes are very fair.

Lindsay is a great professor, one of my favorites! The textbook is useful to have to skim through and refer back to for homework problems. She explains things super well and is very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the material. She makes the class and material interesting. The exams are reasonable if you study the slides and quizzes.
