I think most people would agree when I say I loved Linda. Exams were pretty easy if you pay attention in class/take notes. weekly homework assignments were never too challenging. Also, Linda is just such a fun professor and she keeps her lectures entertaining. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Prof. Linda was probably one of my favorite classes. All exams were open-notes and as long as you came to her lectures, you'd learn everything you need to know for the exam as well as the math portion of it (time value of money). There are 3 exams total and weekly work assignments/quizzes (easy and doable). I highly recommend this course!

Professor Lepe is super awesome. You don't need to read the textbook as the slides cover everything. She didn't take attendance but that may change. If you take notes on the slides and pay attention, the 3 homeworks and exams are pretty easy.

Linda is knowledgable, personable, and explains course material in a clear and understandable way. She does a really good job selecting TA's which makes it easy to succeed in this course.

Great professor, would take any of her classes again. Very understanding and great in lecture.

Linda was amazing. I am a pre-nursing major but I wanted to take this class for life skills. She was always accessible outside of class. 3 HW assignments, 3 exams, 1 final project. Take notes during lectures, get definitions from the book, and study HW and you will get an A. I learned so much from this class.

If you are a business major student, you might find it boring in the first few modules, but you can really learn something in the following chapters. She seems to not be very good at explains complicated things. All you have to do for the exam is calculating and knowing the terms.

Linda really cares about her students and hopes to teach financial skills that her students can use for life. Even though it was q required class, I've never learned more. I never read the book; show up to all of the lectures and you will get an A. There's very little homework and the exams are somewhat easy. Would highly recommend her! to anyone!

Easy A if you show up. Attendance is taken. Expected to pay attention and not be on your phone/computer during class. Really nice woman with a cool career story

I LOVED Linda this semester - one of the few professors on campus that you will actually learn from. Be sure to participate in class w/ TopHat and take brief notes on what she says because all the slides are available online. You can expect 2 midterms and 1 online final exam + 2 small projects which are relatively easy and she's available for help!

Great teacher! Explains topics for easy understanding. Has tons of personal stories she shares and makes class very interesting! Information is very practical. Exams are manageable and homework is reasonable. Would recommend class!

I love Linda! She's honestly the absolute sweetest and is super passionate about what she is teaching! I loved her class and all of the fun anecdotes she'd throw into lecture! Attendance is mandatory, but she cancels Friday class a lot so it's really not that bad. Exams are fair and the material is interesting. 10/10

Linda is a very good teacher. The class is also rather easy. Book really isn't necessary for the most part, as long as you go to class and pay attention. Slightly fast in her lectures, though the slides are available to view. Attendance is always tracked via tophat.

Linda is an amazing teacher. She's very helpful in and outside of class and is very intelligent in the area of finance.

Linda is great because her husband is MATT LEPE WOOOO! But forreal shes pretty good. The TA was absolutely amazing everything was graded within 24 hours. The class is useful information for the rest of your life. Attendance is mandatory. This class is a guaranteed B because some of the homeworks are hard and tests are somewhat tricky but not really

Great teacher!

Linda is the nicest professor I've had. Linda is very concerned that you understand the material and her assignments actually HELPED me understand the material. I loved the class and her

Linda is a really good professor and I really enjoyed her lectures. She really know what she is talking about. The exams aren't that bad, but some of the homework questions are difficult which is why I would get the book for further clarification. The TA for the class isn't helpful at all.

Considering I am not very knowledgeable about this subject, I was hoping to get a clearer understanding, and although there was a lot of info, she isn't good at explaining some concepts. Knowing terms is the only way to do well on the tests, and some of the questions are very specific.

Linda's a great professor who's very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend this class. Fill in the blank powerpoint slides are nice for easy notetaking. 5 homework assignments throughout the semester that take around 20-30min each to do. Somewhat difficult to get an A, but an AB is easily doable with only a little effort needed in the class.

Linda is very good about making things that seem intimidating very simple. I learned a ton in this class and would definitely recommend it. Very easy. 5 assignments (3 of which took only 20 minutes), 2 midterms, and a final. The tests aren't too bad and I didn't read the book at all.

This class is ridiculously easy. There were 5 assignments throughout the semester that were pretty easy. The textbook is not mandatory, which is super nice. Linda is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the subject as she has a lot of experience in the field. Class is kind of boring, but it covers important topics that we should be aware of.

Linda is a great professor! She has real life experience from her time working at Smith Barney. Show up to class and fill in the online notes that are provided and you'll do great! There is a textbook, it's useful for the homework assignments and to study for vocab on the exams. Overall great professor and great experience!
