This class will be what you make of it. If you are diligent in your efforts, you will appreciate the feedback and tough grading from Laura (compared to other professors). You REALLY have to earn an A, only take this professor if you want a healthy challenge!

Prof Grossenbacher is damn good. She was clear and very helpful with every part of the course. She is very frank about everything which just means she'll be honest with you and you can be honest back. Couldn't ask for a better EPD teacher- this is a class that you need a good one for.

Fantastic teacher. She will curate your work so that you know what will be good writing in a professional atmosphere. She will make a good writer out of you

Laura is very professional and eager to help students improve. With that said, she won't give you an easy A and you will have to work pretty hard.

Laura is very condescending and far from helpful. She takes off points based on her opinion.

Thorough professor. She works hard to make sure you know exactly what need going forward as a technical writer in engineering. Be on top of when things are due and start your major paper research early and the class will go smoother.

If you want to learn in EPD 397 take it with Grossenbacher. If you want an easy A, take someone else
