Very hard class. Logan overcomplicates topics in ways that feel unnecessary and isn't easy to work with. I attended every lecture and still left confused most days. I ended up teaching myself, relying on classmates, and going to the MLC. Honestly learned more from Chat GPT. After spring break, about 75% of the class dropped. Save your GPA.Rate My Professors ↗
Everything said in this class by the professor was way too overcomplicated for an elementary, 100-level class. You're better off by only going for the weekly quizzes and then going to the MLC for further help, or just take the class with a different professor. I have never struggled more in a math course. The syllabus does not match up to previous years so there is no way to study for the extremely difficult quizzes or exams. Weekly quizzes, switching from single to group and only 10 mins. He explains things backwards and leaves the class behind others, not getting to all material before exams.
