I think it's relatively easy to achieve maximum points on all of the short assignments/quizzes, and the exams aren't too bad as long as you follow the study guide/review slides. Although the essays were surprisingly difficult and felt very harshly graded in comparison to past classes I had taken with writing assignments. Fun class though.

Overall, the material in this class was interesting, and a lot of the projects we did were pretty fun. Lecture is just so boring, she's not very engaging and it's really hard to pay attention the whole time. She's good at explaining things, just boring. The exams also had a lot of really small details, which made them hard to study for.

Prof. N is very knowledgable and passionate about climate change and it is clearly reflected through her lectures. There's lots of readings in my opinion but the essays are pretty fun (especially the first and second ones), I don't know about the final essay though (Renewable energy brief assignment)

Prof N. knows her stuff! Such awe-inspiring first-hand stories coming from a truly passionate and sweet professor, and the course is designed so thoughtfully. This class changed my life - highly recommend.

Professor N. seems very passionate with the material she teaches. A lot of homework every week and tests are difficult. Tests are pretty much based off of the homework (readings, videos, podcasts, etc.) and a lot of the questions are very specific to the homework.

Prof. N is great! She's extremely knowledgeable and caring. This class has three papers, three exams, and weekly quizzes based on online readings/videos for each module. It's easy to get an A if you do the readings and complete the study guides for the exams. Participate in discussion, ask questions, and pay attention in lecture.
