Really versed in the subject matter and expects you to take class seriously. Goes out of her way to help you be successful in the project while teaching you history and respect for the craft. Lisa is incredible! Her passion for the craft comes through in every demo. Metalwork is extremely hard and time consuming, but the end result is always worth it. She can be tough, but only because she wants you to succeed and gain as much knowledge/skill as possible in a short period of time. You will learn a lot in Lisa's class! She really cares about you succeeding in metals. The projects are challenging, but you'll be really excited about what you've made in the end. Lisa is one of the coolest, most inspiring professors I have ever had. I feel honored to have learned from her, she is truly one of the best in her field. She is tough, but she provides her students with the skills and resources they need. Be prepared to work hard & dont get offended by her blunt personality.
