Lisa was awesome. Household Risk Management was the course that made me start to get serious about the financial planning path. This is mainly due to Lisa who was very engaging with her students and had open discussion lectures. I walked about out of every class thinking about the topics we covered and doing personal research. She was the best.

Lisa Andrews is a phenomenal teacher. She is funny, kind, and caring. Her class is not too difficult, but you should probably go to the lecture and read the textbooks. I got an A because the tests were not hard. Overall, this course is great and easy. TAKE ANY CLASS LISA ANDREWS TEACHES. Seriously one of the best at UW-Madison.

Lisa is a wonderful professor and person. She takes the time to get to know all of her students. She is HILARIOUS! Her caring personality and sarcastic humor is contagious. If you ever have the chance to take a course taught by Lisa be prepared to have someone who genuinely wants to see you learn and succeed.

In class activities so go to lecture. Usually available outside of class, work on homework with people if you can. 3 exams, 2 projects (time consuming but simple). Her practice exams are VERY helpful in preparing for the actual ones. Nice professor who doesn't like lecturing too long. Funny, kind and relates career to class.
