Dr. Lewis is at Indiana State University now. When you have the chance you should take class with her over others in the department! She very clearly lays out exactly what to expect throughout the semester and how to earn whichever grade you want. Lauren is an amazing professor. I find myself frequently referencing the things she taught in her class. She teaches in a way that promotes long term retention of the knowledge. She is also very caring and personable -- the type of professor you'd want to be friends with. She's an overall great person.Rate My Professors ↗
She says class isn't mandatory but there are discussion activities once a week that really impact your grade so you'll want to make sure you go. The class is very lecture heavy and she takes a very historical route to teaching the topics. Papers are graded kind of tough but expectations are clearly outlined.
