Professor Kroiz is VERY organized. You will know exactly what slides need to be studied for the exam, which is really helpful so you can start studying early. She is also always willing to help out and allows re-writes on the papers. If you keep up with the slides, there is no reason for you not to do well! I took several classes with her and she's my favorite art history professor. She's very explicit in what she expects you to know and makes the information interesting and relevant. Exams are easy if you study (no surprises), she's a forgiving grader, and is helpful outside of class. Highly recommend.Rate My Professors ↗
She does talk a lot about slides you don't need to know, but as long as you just focus on the ones she assigns then the class is really easy. She's an easy grader and as long as you attend classes you will get a decent grade. I find the material really interesting as well!Rate My Professors ↗
Lecture is boring and she goes over a ton of extra slides that you don't need to know. There are study images online and the textbook and discussion provide everything else. Tests are blue book and easy but class is unbearably boring!Rate My Professors ↗
This class is not too hard, but it can get kind of boring. Prof. Kroiz gets very off tangent a lot of the time and often talks about paintings that we don't need to know anything about, which is just confusing. Most of what she says can be found in the text book. But the exams aren't too bad and she basically tells you what you need to study.Rate My Professors ↗
