Prof Legault is super fun! Attending her lectures is always a pleasure. CS300 is all about basic programming skills and should not be considered a difficult course. She takes good pace in her lecture and thoroughly addresses students' questions. Most of the grades comes from 3 tests, but weekly projects and quizzes are also important.

Lots of reading and required activities in the online textbook. The 11 projects were a major time commitment. I felt like I learned a lot about coding in this class. Dr. Legault is very funny and tries to keep students engaged. Office hours were very helpful for troubleshooting code. Time management is important for this class.

She's really nice and understanding and I think her lectures make the content easy to understand. She's also really funny. The only thing is that the tests are harder than what is taught and we are expected to code more difficult projects during exams than we have in practice.

Her section is asynchronous but I think she misunderstood this word as absent. Her lecture is so short that doesn't cover something specific and useful. I was really lost at the beginning but I got back on track since I started listening to another professor's lecture and watching YouTube. Good luck if you take her section.

Great person but did not do good at teaching. If you want to pass you better be good at self teaching. She expects you to be able to write code for advanced topics from a 15 minute video. You're thrown into water and expected to swim. I can't learn from a brief overview of what the topic is about. I learned everything this semester from youtube.
