I loved this class, even though I rarely went since it was all the way in veterinary sciences. Super interesting content and the guest lectures I saw were good too. Slides and lecture recordings are always posted. 3 exams make up your grade and he posts summaries of lectures which are extremely helpful when studying. Kurt's cool, take this class!

I loved Dr. Sladky's class. I was one of, if not the best class I have ever taken. The class is only graded on 3 exams but professor Sladky genuinely wants all his students to succeed and publishes study guides. The class is based on lectures from Dr. Sladky and other industry professionals often including DNR veterinarians or other professors.

Dr. Sladky is the best professor I have had at UW. Despite almost all lecturers being guests, an outline was given before each exam. The exams were challenging yet fair, but he adjusted grade cutoffs appropriately. Lectures are super important! Overall, he is a really caring professor who wants to see students succeed. I'd recommend to anyone !

This class was organized by Sladky but had about two dozen guest lecturers. Some of them were amazing and others were straight-up crazy, but the tests mostly focused on the lectures that were presented well. Sladky also send out a good summary of one really poor lecture given by a guest lecturer. His own lectures were really straight forward.

ATTEND REVIEW LECTURES mean emailer exam focus on the details

Dr. Sladky is AMAZING. A super nice guy and the Diseases of Wildlife class is amazing. A lot of different lectures, but Sladky cares about what you learn. If you can explain your answers on exams, you're golden. GREAT professor and class!
