Not the best ESL experience I had. She is harsh and a tough grader. The environment of the classroom is just so awkward, which would been nice if she, as a instructor, put some effort to make the learning community better but she didn't. It was not a pleasure taking her dry lectures. Avoid her if you can.

Kristin exceeds my expectations of a 118 instructor. She is humorous, whose lectures are enjoyable even the topic is doctrine; she is helpful, with whose comments on my draft I am clear what to improve; she is caring, with whose encouragements I keep trying my best. The 118 process is painful, but Kristin makes it worth. Every word from heart.

Kristin is really a tough grader. She is strict with all the requirements of the homeworks, that is to say, if you miss even only one of the requirements, you are likely to miss about ten percent of the score However, she gives lots of suggestions on the essays and will improve your score if you follow her instructions But I will not take it again.

Kristin is a great instructor and I definitely learned a lot from her class. Though she is a little strict with homework and attendance, we all appreciate her passion for teaching. Students in our class became good friends and enjoyed the in-class activities and discussions a lot.

True transitions cannot be made between paragraphs of supporting ideas which are not interconnected. Feedback on this should be more clear and comprehensive.

Personally, I do not think Kristin is an excellent instructor. Although some of her comments are useful, other comments, however, are confusing. I followed all her instructions but still got a very low score on paper 1. Fortunatelly, this story did not continue on IRP.

Kristin is definitely a great instructor. She cares about all her students and tries to do as much as possible to help be a good writer and learn as much as possible from classes, not only for credit. She gives clear expectations of what she wants the assignment or grading be like so that as long as following instruction, everything should be fine.

Great ESL teacher! Kristin just really really cares for her students and is always there for help. Her class is well-organized and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Although the homework is more than other sections' and the grading is a little strict, she is really responsible so I agree that my english skills really improved.

I took her ESL 117 class and she is amazing lecturer. Learnt a lot from her.
