Cool and funny professor! He really cares about his students' success and you can tell his goal is NOT to just teach for the sake of teaching (keep us mindlessly busy memorizing facts/definitions) but to teach us relevant materials. By far one of the best professors i've ever had. He also gives good life advice in class so take it with him!
Such a caring professor! While you have to pay attention and put in the hour, if you take the initiative and ask Kevin for clarifying questions, you should be fine (Keep in mind however the course is curved). The group work can be a hit or miss but Kevin tries his best to be fair by administering peer evaluations at the end of the semester.
The class is honestly not hard if you study for a few hours and understand the core concepts. There is really no homework or assigned readings, so this class was minimal work. But, his grading for group projects is highly ambiguous and points are taken off without reason. When I asked for a rubric, he replied that "makes the assignment too easy"...
Kevin is easy going and really made going to class stress free and fun. His pace of teaching was perfect and he made sure we learn the materials by providing us with all the necessary tools to review the topics. For example the class was recorded for Covid reasons I think and it was made available to all of us before the exams. Take 310 with Kevin
Great professor! Clearly cares about his students and gives valuable advice both in and outside of class!
This was the easiest class I've ever taken. A 4th grader could get an A. The class sizes are small so you have to show up and just be bored the whole time. Take this if you have a hard semester and are looking for an easy class, but know you won't learn a single thing.
Although Professor Chung is a great person and his course isn't too difficult, he gave little direction on assignments resulting in unfair score deductions. He also made a lot of unnecessary group work. Beware that some of the wording on tests is broken English and can be confusing. But he was a great person and lecturer, so I'd take him again.
If you just spend a few hours the day before the exams carefully looking at his study guides and finding the corresponding lecture slides to each bullet point, you'll pretty easily get an A. Homework isn't hard either although the grading criteria can be a little ambiguous at times.
Very engaging professor, explains topics clearly and uses great examples. You get to participate in a lot of fun activities in his class in a way that will help you remember how that applies to the concepts in class.
Kevin is absolutely amazing. He will speak to you and truly get to know you as a student. He is by far one of the best professors Ive ever had. He is caring, and understands the importance of clearly teaching what is relevant to your future while making it fun and enjoyable. You will learn real life skills, and have fun at the same time.
Great professor! Projects and exams were clear on what to expect and consistent with teachings. He is a very fair grader. Lectures are 2 1/2 hours long but not boring, as he is an engaging lecturer, and usually half of each class is left for work. He is also available outside of class and willing to work with students as needed. Would recommend!
Hands down the most boring marketing professor I've ever had. His lectures are so draining, and he mumbles a lot to himself. Take another professor if you can. Most of your grade actually comes from group work, which is graded harshly. Even if you get high 90's in individual work and exams, it's hard to recover.
I really enjoyed this class with Kevin! He is funny, extremely helpful, and does a great job explaining hard topics in an easy to understand way. He gives detailed study guides & the 2 exams are quite easy. There are 2 group hw assignments, and 1 individual assignment. Take Kevin for this class if you can!
Kevin is the man! Such as funny guy and made an extremely boring subject bearable. He is also always there to answer questions if you need help. His tests are very very fair and he pretty much tells you what will be on it. Group project is pretty boring though. Overall, if you have to take 310, take it will Kevin you'll get some great laughs
He is an amazing professor. Always there and willing to help you out in any way. Take MKT 310 with him!
Kevin is an amazing professor. If you need help, he is the first person to be there for you. Willing to put help you anyway he can. I learned a lot from his class. Tests are very easy as long as you pay attention in class. He pretty much tell you what will be on the exam. Group Project is okay.
