He is very passionate about botany which makes the lectures entertaining but he can go extremely quickly through important information. Tests are difficult but all questions are found within lectures (which are posted on Canvas).

He didn't try this semester by using pre-recorded lectures from at least 2 years ago. He hasn't put in any effort for new material or to accommodate the COVID times and doesn't even put out a practice exam. the other 2 professors earlier in the semester were much better than him and recorded new lectures. Doesn't answer piazza either

Dr. Camerons lectures are never boring because he is extremely passionate about about plants. He posts his lectures online and holds review sessions which are very helpful for studying for tests. The tests however are stressful, because many questions may catch you off guard but as long as you think things through you should be fine.

His exams are based solely on memorization of specific details that don't relate to the overall class material

Dr. Cameron is an amazing professor. He really cares about his students and will be willing to meet with them outside of class. His exams are not cumulative, and he provides study guides that are super helpful. His review sessions are wonderful, and he is able to clearly answer all questions that are asked. Would highly recommend!

Attend lecture and study a week ahead of the exam. His exams are tough and you need to know the subject well. Overall, lectures are really entertaining. He is passionate and an interesting guy.

He was a nice guy but he went over information really fast and there were a lot of small details. The lecture slides were mostly pictures and diagrams and he never provided review questions. Random facts from the lectures were on the exam and it was hard to do well.

You have to make sure to attend all the lectures but even if you do he goes through everything so fast. He doesn't really seem to care if you even get the things down he just moves on and he says so much and then puts random stuff on the exams.

Prof Cameron really knows his stuff but that might be the problem. He throws a lot of material at you but doesn't do great test prep. Still a good lecturer though and very engaging.

I enjoyed the class.

Powerpoints just consist of a bunch of pictures so make sure to go to lecture to get the notes. Tests consist of MANY random questions that you would never think to study

Ken is a cool guy. His powerpoints are vague and not that helpful - make sure to attend his lectures, the info is given orally. Always study with your book. His exams are definitely "curveballs". Even if you ask him what to study, it probably won't help for the exam.

Dr. Cameron is a really nice guy and you can tell he really loves what he does and teaches the material accordingly. He adds interesting fun facts and cracks jokes and makes coming to a pretty boring class enjoyable. My only tip is to come to class and take good notes, occasionally there are curve ball questions on the tests.

Nice guy. Not very clear though. Going to lecture will help if you write down the stuff that isn't on the slides...quite a few curveball questions on tests...first year teaching botany
