The class taught the content in a way that helped me feel prepared for exams but also for practical use. Kelsey explains the exercises in very clear ways. As long as you do the work, you're good to go. I really enjoyed the class content and Kelsey as the instructor.

I went into Pilates 135 thinking that it would be an easy and fun 1 credit class- let me tell you... it was not. 3 written anatomical exams that required quite a lot of studying. This class should either be made easier or be at least 2 credits. It was a LOT of work to get an A. I do NOT recommend this class.

Kelsey is a great instructor and gives helpful feedback to improve our practice. However, the three exams were hard and required you to spend quite some time studying. They are a mix of written, true/false, multiple choice, and matching. I think this class could be a little easier for 1 credit, and towards the end, it got a little repetitive.

She had absolutely ridiculous expectations of us for a one-credit pilates class. She taught us as if we had 5+ years of experience, and gave vague instructions that didn't work for my body or many of my classmates. She assigned more work (journals describing 20+ exercises biweekly and extensive anatomy quizzes) than half of my 3-credit courses did.

Kelsey is an amazing teacher, gives so many good verbal cues would take a class from her again. BUT I thought this class would be an easy A but its not. 3 timed exams and you need to know your pilates concepts to get a good a grade. Final is filming yourself doing a 30 mins pilates flow from memorization. Attendance not mandatory online.
