Dr. Shaw lacks consistency in her directions and everything she says. She likes to follow many different sets of rules and will penalize you for something she clearly stated she would not. She also seems to think her class is super important and the only class students are taking when quite literally everyone hates going to such a useless class.

Professor Shaw is one of the worst kinds of professors. She acts very nice in person but loves to send lengthy passive aggressive emails rather than addressing the issue. She also contradicts herself constantly, saying one thing but doing another. For a class on communication, professor shaw does not know how to communicate at all in any regard

Dr. Shaw is one of my new favorite professors! The class is tough—she's upfront about that—but she explains things clearly and knows her stuff. She's generous with her time and gives helpful, detailed feedback, especially on the 15-page final portfolio. She's also an easy grader, as long as you put in effort and read the assignment, you'll get an A

Grades extremely strict and harsh. She contradicted herself multiple times throughout the semester in class and over email. Canvas was poorly organized and unclear. For example, there are three different places to find the instructions for a single assignment which all contradict each other. Avoid at all costs if you like your mental health.
