Prof. Phillipson is a very good lecturer, makes Math 320 into a very engaging subject. Tests are similar to old tests and all lectures are recorded.

Dr. P is the best math professor that I have ever had! As someone who was HORRIBLE at math, the class was very easy due to the structure of lecture. There were also a lot of resources for help.

Kaitlin Phillipson is a fantastic Calculus professor to say the least. I've taken Calculus three-ish times and Kaitlin was the best by a large margin. I enjoyed the note packets we followed along with, and I believe the exams were well fit.

Dr. P is the best math prof at UW!! 1000% would recommend. She really understands math and explains it in ways that she knows everyone will understand and is very open to answering questions during lecture. She made the long lectures not feel so bad through humor.

Dr. P is an awesome teacher for math 211. In high school I really struggled with calculus and I absolutely hated it. I like math211 and am understanding the concepts way easier through Dr. P's lectures and packets.

Dr. P is an amazing professor and runs the class really well. She has notes templates posted online so you can print them out and she goes through them in class so note-taking and studying are very easy. She encourages questions and is extremely kind and energetic during lectures so you won't feel bored. I would recommend her to everyone.

Professor Philipson is the best professor I've had at UW-Madison! Her notes are really organized (fill in the blank style with tons of examples) and homework are based on them, and then exams aren't tricky either. You can tell she loves teaching and really cares about delivering the content well. She also responds to student feedback well!

Dr. P is amazing given her very interactive lectures and well-structured materials, making reviews easy. TAs are awesome too! They are always available and gave thorough explanations to every question. Strongly recommended!

After taking Calc 2 and Calc 3 in HS, Dr. Phillipson was my first math professor and she set the bar way to high for the other problems. I love Dr. Phillipson and her teaching that made me more interesting the topics of linear algebra and Diff Eqs. Additionally, she is such a nice and caring individual that cares about student success.

I took Dr. P in math 320 not 340 and she was amazing. I had early morning discussion and never went but she covered the material so well in lecture that I have had no problems with homework or exams. She makes lectures entertaining and understandable, and has lots of examples. Go with Dr. P for 320!

This class isn't easy, but Dr. P did an amazing job simplifying all of the concepts and clearly cared about student's learning. She was always open to questions and was willing to re-explain topics as many times as needed. Lectures were also recorded, which was super helpful. Great prof, crappy material.
