Lectures were boring. Course description does not mention economics portion and he teaches it as though all students are experts. Tests count for a huge portion of the grade and are difficult. Grades were entered incorrectly online and misled students about their grades all semester. Disappointed to experience such a drastic drop before the final.

This class wasn't hard. I studied for the exams the day before, going through each lecture, the discussion notes, and skimming through the book chapters. Dr. Stiegart may be an incredibly boring lecturer, (skipped going to class) but he tells you everything you need to know to do well on his tests. Reading the textbook helps for clarity, good luck!

Quite possibly the worst teacher in UW-Madison. His lectures were dull. Half the time he did not know or understand what he was talking about. His exams are not representative of what you learn in class/discussion/book (even if you read it three times over.

Most of the time I felt like I had no idea what he was asking us to learn. There was a big disconnect between homework assignments, lectures and class readings. Also not a very captivating lecturer-- it was very easy to fall asleep.
