care about his students, will degrade them if he feels like it. Besides his horrible attitude, he sucks at lectures, makes everything too convoluted for no reason, and gives very little time to do in class TopHat so be ready to lose points because of that","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1276385","quality_rating":1,"difficulty_rating":5},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:25:19.370761+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTM2MjkwOTI1","source_instructor_id":"rmp:1276385","instructor_name":"Kurt Feigl","course_label":"GEOSCI537","course_id":"GEOSCI/GLE 537","course_uid":"course_aed562b7edd82a8ce0323ae1","review_date":"2022-05-09 22:52:03 +0000 UTC","comment":"I took Dr. Feigl's quantitative methods in geoscience course. It primarily focused on the use of MATLAB. I went in with no experience of coding of any kind and I came out with a good grasp of the basics. Its definitely one of the more useful classes I have taken. Dr. Feigl was always helpful with answering questions and helping me understand.","source_url":"https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/professor/1276385","quality_rating":4,"difficulty_rating":3},{"observed_at":"2026-09-07 16:25:19.370761+00:00","run_id":"20260907T155543-ce3781c4","source_review_id":"UmF0aW5nLTM0NjgxMzA1","source_instructor_id":"rmp:1276385","instructor_name":"Kurt Feigl","course_label":"GEO118","course_id":null,"course_uid":null,"review_date":"2021-05-02 19:29:04 +0000 UTC","comment":"Not even worth to give 1 star. The WORST CLASS that I've taken in my undergraduate. Preparing doesn't make any better. Stay away if you are trying to boost up your grades. By far the worst professor I have ever taken a class with. You don't know what will come in the exam, he is not clear about syllabus and denies answering that question if asked.
