Professor Slack is one of the most genuine and caring Professors that I know. She creates a wonderful environment for students to learn, and she brings in a lot of guest speakers to make class interesting. I always see her talking to students and answering questions thoughtfully after class. While attendance isn't taken, I'd strongly suggest going.Rate My Professors ↗

I'll admit I had a bad attitude about social policy. But I left the class feeling more confused and mightily abused. Her assignments were difficult to complete due to unclear directions, and the exams were next to impossible.Rate My Professors ↗
Rude, pompous, and completely unwilling to do anything to improve learning (ie talks in a whisper and refuses to speak up, won't use a microphone, overheads, or power point). Her final exam was VERY poorly written and full of vague, ambigious questions.Rate My Professors ↗
