About this rating

Raw average: 4.69/5 from 70 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

This class is by far the hardest class I have EVER taken; however, it's SUPER beneficial, important, and the most valuable course I've taken. This class is EXTREMELY hard, you need to put in the time and study your butt off in order to do well in it. Professors are amazing! They truly care about students! P.S.-There jokes are super funny!

Really good professor and makes difficult concepts seem simple with the way he explains them. Dr. Strang seems to really care about his students, especially students who might not speak English as their first language.

Quality 5/5Difficulty 5/5
Strang is a really good professor who knows his stuff about physiology. The class is by far the hardest I've taken in my three years in college. Buy the textbook and the notes packet. The lectures are all posted online but still try to go to lecture as much as possible as it is hard to stick to rewatching the lectures and you retain less.

Dr. Strang really cares about the quality of learning for all of his students. I went to a majority of the office hours, and he was always willing to go into depth with anyone's questions.

Dr. Strang is a great professor. He really makes you learn the material rather than regurgitation on exams. I have benefitted the most from his class and really had to work hard. He definitely prepares you for grad school. Most students were premed or prePA in his class. His lectures and expectations are clear and he has a couple good jokes.
