Professor Mayer is engaging and clearly passionate about the material. The readings can be lengthy but are generally worthwhile. Prof Mayer is clearly passionate and is a very engaging lecturer. The readings can be long but mostly are worth while and interesting. If you come to lecture consistently and pay attention you will be fine. The course is test heavy but if you fill out the study guide provided and attend the review session you will be fine. Prof. Mayer is a really good, funny guy and he was good at lecturing but this class was SOOOOO incredibly boring I couldn't even bring myself to do the work. There was a LOT of reading and I found it so boring that I lost all motivation, I took AP Gov in highschool which helped me do well on the tests.
