She was a great professor to have for INTER170 and definitely helped to make sure that everyone was doing work on their projects. Katie was really kind and definitely tried to give as much feedback as possible to make your projects better and she understands that a group shouldn't have to take the fall for a bad team member.Rate My Professors ↗
While she was personable and nice for the most part, Katie was VERY nitpicky and frequently made our group rework/scrap ideas that she had previously told us to adopt, which was a source of frustration. Katie was a wonderful lab instructor. She outlined requirements very clearly, offered amazing advice for improving written portions of the group project throughout the semester, and was hands-down one of the most amazing and kind human beings. I had an amazing experience in her class. She was very caring of her students and was pretty laid back most of the time. The class is group project based but she does a good job of leading you through the process.
