She was an amazing professor to have for Botany 130. You could tell she really enjoyed what she was teaching, and she also cared for the students. She was very open to questions in class and helped outside of class. The only negative thing about this course was the number of hours I spent in class, with 2 labs, 1 discussion, and 3 lectures a week.Rate My Professors ↗

I love Kate so much. She is one of the most engaging professors I've ever had and does a fantastic job explaining course material. Her exam was quite difficult, so make sure you understand the plant topics well, but as a professor, the exam was really her only shortcoming, and from the sounds of it, this year was more difficult than normal.Rate My Professors ↗
