I really feel bad for him because he seems so kind and passionate about what he does but a really bad lecturer. Would come to class unprepared and have to be corrected by students.Tough class be prepared to put a lot of work in outside and go to discussion. A good TA saves you.Rate My Professors ↗

I am sure that he is qualified in his field, but he is not good at teaching intro-level course concepts. He goes on tangents & takes a long time explaining small details. He did not finish a single lecture presentation & I attended all of his lectures. I had to self-teach myself the concepts.Rate My Professors ↗

Incredibly esoteric lectures that are really difficult to follow. Used up a lot of class time to go into nauseating detail about minute assumptions or exceptions to a rule that were not relevant at all to the Physics 103 audience or what would be on our exams. Not a good professor but the class itself is decent, discussion was very helpful for me.Rate My Professors ↗

He's not as bad as people say, I thought he was pretty funny too. One issue is that lectures don't apply to hw/exams that muchRate My Professors ↗

Don't take this class with Kael unless you have to. He's unorganized, unprepared, and sometimes more confused than the students are. You're most likely going to have to learn everything on your own with no support from him.Rate My Professors ↗

Everyone says the class is super hard, but its not all that. Kael is challenging to learn from; he speaks quickly and frequently makes mistakes, and he can get upset when someone asks questions. I recommend attending discussion sections and actively learning from the homework because the lecture isn't always helpful.Rate My Professors ↗
