Professor Kalscheur was amazing. Super nice guy and it clearly shows that he wants students to succeed. For English 100 at least, he had a grading contract that made it so as long as you complete all of the work and participate in class, you get an A. He made lots of time to meet outside of class for useful feedback. 10/10 would take again.

He is the best professor I have ever had, and I highly recommend him. Anyone can take something valuable out of this class and it's very easy to get an A. He gives you a clear grading contract and great, thoughtful, personal feedback. I highly recommend.

Very nice guy and great professor. Genuinely cares about all his students and makes a clear effort to support them. He's very accommodating, will move deadlines when the class is behind, if you ask for extra time it's almost sure he'll give it to you. Also super respectful, makes expectations/deadlines clear, and grades pretty much by completion.

Josh is a nice guy and the class is not bad at all. He gives you a grading contract where you choose the grade you want, and then throughout the semester are required to complete the criteria for your chosen grade. Basically, it's an easy A. The work isn't hard but there is a lot of busywork, assignments, and participating during class. E

Prof. K was an outstanding teacher, he genuinely seemed to care about his students, in all regards, not just academics. Gave us a grading contract basically making it impossible to not receive the grade you wanted as long as you put in the work. Easy schedule and made assignments clear when they were due with lots of reminders. Best Comm A option.
