I loved this professor so so much. She was so helpful in all that we learned and she deeply cared about us. She wanted us to do well and worked hard to have that happen.

One of the most disrespectful instructors I've ever had. Rude and dismissive to students, rolls her eyes when we ask questions. Unclear instructions met with a hostile environment with no opportunities to express our concerns. No real teaching was done, just lots of long group assignments. Issues with grading and an unclear attendance policy

She was rude, dismissive, and quick to anger when stufents had questions and/or concerns. Gave the facade she was open minded, but over the course seemed to grow more resentful of us and the littlest inconvenience for her became larger issues she took personally. IDK if I got an A because missing one day brought my grade from 97 to 88%

Created a very hostile learning environment. The class itself was not taught well and she made students afraid to ask questions. She didn't demonstrate any respect or empathy for students.

Professor Coburn was extremely condescending towards her students. Majority of class was spent doing busy group work, and many peers and I agreed that we did not gain much from the course. One student wasn't allowed to use the bathroom during the 1.5 hour class (mind you we are college adults). Unclear attendance policy.

Did not treat students well.

Class material is very important to understand as nursing students, but the course design limits learning with group assignments. Group assignments are “busy work” and do not really challenge students to learn. Professor has rolled her eyes at students in front of class members and has created a hostile learning environment.

Condescending and has no respect for students lives outside of nursing school

Professor did the bare minimum to teach anything. This is very pertinent information to know as a nurse, and it's really unfortunate that it's all falling through the class because of the lack of care from this professor. I learned more trying to find information on Chat GPT than I did while sitting in the whole course.

Professor gave no clear attendance policy until the last three weeks of the course and even then there was ambiguity. Rolled eyes and was dismissive to many students who simply had questions. Extremely dismissive and rude. Students got in trouble for using the restroom.
