Prof. Morris is super nice, and he is passionate about his work! He is very engaging with his students and his enthusiasm makes lecture something to look forward to.

Take this class if you love music and talking about it! Prof. Morris has some of the best lectures on campus, and he always has music playing. One paper, and two podcasts (pitch and final) basically make up your whole grade and the grading is super confusing, but it's overall a lot of fun to just talk about your favorite songs every class.

Love Prof Morris, I've taken three of his classes now and all are great. Highly recommend.

Morris is spectacular and a great guy. His class was fun and he clearly cared a lot about the topics and his students. I took his new class CA 313, which was enjoyable. If you need Com Arts credit definitely consider his class.

This class was one of the few I felt engaged in the entire semester. Jeremy's slides are very informational & you have access to them as soon as class begins. Grading criteria was clear in assignments. Be ready to do a lot of work for the exams though, prep work is key for this class. Jeremy makes the sometimes mundane history of the web cool.

I would not take his class again, don't get me wrong he's a nice professor and can make you laugh, but overall teaching... yeah no. It's our finals week and we still have MULTIPLE assignments that aren't graded that were due back in October. No late assignments, and attendance is mandatory and no clear grading criteria for exams and summarizers.

Professor Morris is what I wish every teacher/professor was like. He knows how to teach a lecture. There are readings every week as well as daily polls/pop quizzes during lectures related to those readings. You will love this class. There are lots of memes and correlation to the real current world. Will not disappoint.

I really enjoyed this class & I loved how organized and consistent it was. Overall minimal workload and the grading is fair. My only complaint is the readings were sometimes long and monotonous, and you need to read them quite carefully for the exams. There are daily polls/"pop quizzes" every lecture, but he always gives a warning before.

This dude is awesome. Kind, caring, and all around a great person, Prof. Morris wants to make sure you will succeed in this course. He makes topics that may not appear interesting on the surface intriguing. Assignments aren't too bad, but this class really shines with the lecture.

I LOVE prof Morris. He is sweet and cares about students, but is a tough grader. I always thought I'd do better than the grade I received on my exams/papers. CA346 has 2 summarizers (short papers), a project (easy), midterm and final. The midterm and final are short/long answer and MC. There are a few pop quizzes and polls during lecture for credit

Great professor- really cares about the class too. It was an online summer class- and the most organized one I have ever taken. Information was always very clear. I have a 3/5 on difficulty because he is a bit tough on the final project- but very fair. You can also reach him beforehand to get thorough feedback before you submit it.

Very good professor you can tell he's got everything locked down tight planned, and seems responsive to feedback. Organization of the class material & delivery of lectures are all very solid. He's definitely a tough grader though so be warned not an easy A. Also he has a Canadian accent (if that's any bonus).

Jeremy was an amazing professor. He was the professor who would give detailed and genuine feedback to students' works. I took that as he truly cared about students. I felt that he held very high standard on examining students' sounds works. You would learn to be as professional as possible to get a fair grade.

Morris is GREAT. intriguing lecturer & tries to explain the important topics well (highlights what will be on tests in lecture). allows cheat sheets for exams. class projects are interesting/interactive, but there aren't many total grades. Morris is great about feedback though & wants to make the class student friendly

Professor Morris is a good lecturer--he goes above and beyond to make all content interesting, accessible, and even fun. I learned so much from this class. His exams are difficult bc there is a lot of essay writing (short answer 2-3 paragraphs to him) time is short. You have to know the readings really well; AND make a good, thorough crib sheet.

Jeremy is one of the best professors I've ever had. He truly cares about each and every student and wants to make a difference in their lives. I would wholeheartedly urge anyone thinking about taking one of his classes to sign up, it's something you'll take with you for the rest of your life!

Jeremy is the best professor I have EVER had. He is the best thing to happen to the com arts department and I can't stress what a great professor he is. He goes above and beyond to try to help you and is passionate about the topic at hand. The topic is already interesting but you learn so much from Jeremy and I'm so sad the class is over!

Jeremy is such a fun professor! He make some really dry material really fun and entertaining. The readings are all online, but they are necessary bc that's what's on exams. All in all, I wasn't crazy about the content of the course but Professor Morris made it super fun and enjoyable and I would love to take another class with him.

This class was decent for a Comm Arts class (coming from someone who thinks most of them aren't super valuable besides advanced production classes). Content wasn't as interesting as I expected it to be. Not a super easy A - they expect you to put in work for your grade. Exams are grader harder than they should be. Readings are boring.

His lectures are AMAZING. Honestly, Prof. Morris is one of the best prof's I've had at UW and in the Comm Arts Department. His lectures have super engaging content, and he genuinely wants students to do well. That being said, there are a lot of intensive readings and the exams really drew from the readings.

Jeremy is a cool guy and entertaining lecturer. Course content definitely not as interesting as course guide made it out to be. My class experience was slightly disappointing because of my TA. Expected us to know exactly what was in his brain and wasn't as fair of a grader than what I'd expect. I would've preferred discussion with Jeremy instead.
