Very interesting lectures that were easy to follow along. Lots of readings, but most of them were super digestible and intriguing as they were required to be used as references for the midterm and final paper. Group project in discussion worth 25% of overall grade, but it was well-explained and didn't require much time outside of class.

Prof. Otting was great! Our lectures were always very engaging and we talked in groups a lot. There were many readings and videos/podcasts for class, but they were all pretty interesting and easy to get through. We only had 3 essays and a project, and while they were pretty big we had a lot of time to complete them and ask for help.

Professor Jennifer is an honorable professor. She is very kind and willing to listen to every student. Maybe the class discussions are a little awkward, but they help the class. However, she is not clear about expectations and is vague about assignments, but she is very willing to explain and give students the opportunity to correct mistakes.

Such a monotonic lecturer and doesn't respond to emails.

Professor Otting had extremely intriguing lectures that were consistently enjoyable. There is some reading, but I found most of them very interesting, and they were never too complicated. The content was also interesting because students got to speak a lot from their own experiences to compare and contrast to the rest of the world.

This was a good class overall-- not insanely time consuming. Readings are very helpful in understanding class content but you can get by with skimming them over quickly for MOST weeks. Attendance policy is strict, however no exams is a big plus for this course. There are around 3 papers throughout the semester with a final paper at the end.

One of my favorite professors!

Prof Otting is super sweet, lectures could be a bit boring at times but overall she tried to make class engaging. There aren't many papers and you get to choose the topic you write about for 3 of the 5. Fun class and easy A :)

Professor Otting is great! Her EDPOL300 class is one everyone should take regardless of your major. There are only 5 papers the entire semester and two of them build off one another and the other ones, you get to choose when you complete it. Also she makes lectures fun and engaging by asking some thought-provoking questions! Highly recommend!
