Professor Franck was my first professor in the engineering department, and I couldn't have asked for more. She genuinely cared about each person in the class (25 people) and got to know them on a personal level. Furthermore, she was very helpful whenever you had a question. I am very excited to possibly have Professor Franck in the future!

Excellent Professor, made the intro course super fun!

She is really just a poor teacher. She has a horrible office hour once a week at an inconvenient time and is less than responsive on email and piazza. When she does answer questions online she doesn't answer the question, she just asks you a question or tells you to literally google it. Her lectures are exceedingly dry as she reads off the slides.

This classes handled moving online very well. Lectures were clear, if a little short on showing the derivations. She was very accessible - her piazza requirements seemed weird at first, but it fostered an amazing environment of collaboration. Covered numerical methods, theory, and simulation programs - all around a well-taught, thorough class.
