Best professor I've had overall! very engaging and funny too

Worst Professor ever

Funny, entertaining lectures, easy on students, and a fun class!

few assignments, interesting content, former monk, meditate every class. very good a+

He is a sweetheart who taught very intelligently and had a great deal of knowledge on the subject. He was amazing! He was very compassionate.

Jampa is clearly passionate about his lecture material as he is a former monk himself. As long as you pay attention in class and keep notes, the bi-weekly responses, exams, and papers will be extremely easy. He is also a very easy grader and this should be a very easy A.

Jampa is a nice professor, I like how he includes his experience when he was a monk in class. He really shows his effort and inspires the class by bringing performers and experts which making this class one the best classes that I have.

Making jot silly joke

This is exactly how every elective/breadth course should be taught. Jampa realizes that most of the people in 268 are taking it because they're just interested in the content, so he doesn't kill you with tons of hw or hard tests but instead makes super interesting lectures (often with guest speakers) so you can just listen and learn. Great class

Take this class if you want an easy course. Grade is based on 2 open note online exams, bi weekly reading reflections, and 1 final essay. Attendance is mandatory but very easy to do other homework during class. Syllabus states books are required but readings are posted so don't buy the books. Overall a chill class with a caring professor.

Very easy. No need to do readings, as he repeats the topics during lectures. Exams were online and open everything, so very easy. Good class to do other work in or get a super easy A.

Jampa Khedup is awesome! I learned so much in the Intro Tibetan Buddhism class. He loves discussion and gives good feedback. Also gives good review sheets for what you need to know for assessments.

Jampa La is one of the funniest and most genuine professors you can take. Initially it's an intimidating thing, to take a foreign non-mainstream language, but he really customized the class to our needs and interests which was made the whole experience so enjoyable. To get an A you honestly have to just try (and show up!)

Jampa is a wonderful persona and professor. His personal ties to the class of Tibet Buddhism he makes learning the culture so much fun. He has one take-home quiz, one take-home midterm, a final paper, and exam. Both take home you can use notes and other resources. While the final is from the questions from quizterm. All very easy to pass.

Very nice guy and interesting material!

Jampa is really nice and just an overall really good guy. His tests and quizzes are really easy and he will even give you the answers to them. However, you should probably go to class as much as possible because i thought i was going to get an A because Jampa is just ridiculously easy going but i got an AB...probably because i missed some classes
