About this rating

Raw average: 5.00/5 from 5 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Prof Justin is amazing! He always emphasizes teaching us how to apply class materials into solving real-world issues. All his lectures+discussions were super fun and engaging. His slides and notes are very organized, and he's super responsive on slack. He was the reason I chose health systems as my focus area. Wishing him all the best in Canada :)

Prof Boutilier is the best professor I've had. As a graduating senior trying to do the bare minimum to get by, I found myself coming to lecture not to pass the class, but because the class was so interesting. He makes all lectures very relevant to what is going on in the world. Class was relatively easy if you've taken past ISYE courses.

He is probably the best professor I've ever had at UW-Madison. He clearly cares a lot about the content and relates each topic to interesting, real life applications. He encourages open discussion in class and asks for feedback from the class. HIGHLY recommend taking his class!! Just a cool guy in general too.

Justin is an incredibly guy and is an incredible professor. He starts class with candid discussions on anything class related that people are wondering. He is available for questions on slack and is really helpful and knowledgeable.
