Julia Faulkner is, by far, the most incredible person I have ever met. I know that I'll walk away from UW-Madison being a fine singer, and a wonderful human being because of her. An absolutely fascinating woman, and no one can deny that she's MADE IT within the opera world. She has the remarkable ability to bring a professional singer out of even the worst freshmen (although she picks them well) and is, what's more, and incredibly emotionally generous person. A simply remarkable woman. After hearing her sing, you can never doubt any thing she asks you to do while singing. She knows her students inside and out, and has a way of getting inside your head, knowing exactly what you are thinking, and helping you to overcome whatever is holding you back.
