Despite 345 being a difficult class, Cooper makes the class enjoyable for even those who dislike chemistry by being a professor who is genuinely passionate about the subject and is overall effective at teaching the material.

Professor Cooper is a great professor who brings a lively and fun attitude to class! I feel like I learn from him and can easily ask him "silly" questions. It is easy to dislike sitting in a challenging chemistry lecture, but class always goes by quickly with JCC.

He often made mistakes in lecture so I started watching Brian Esselman's lectures - it was his first year teaching and I could tell he was nervous. I think he'll get better with time. But the class is very challenging and only graded on 3 midterms, 3 quizzes and a final exam.

Great guy, but you could tell he was nervous and made like 10 mistakes per lecture to the point where I had to just start watching Brian's lecture videos. It was also his first year teaching, so I would give him a break and he'll prob end up being a great professor in the future.
