Such a chiller. Not the easiest class, but a walk in the park compared to other engineering classes. Striebel's approach to instruction is not to hand hold, but answer questions as mistakes come up. Doesn't take attendance, lots of people leave halfway through class when their work is done. He clearly cares about students and the subject.Rate My Professors ↗
Such a chiller. I took his class during spring of 2026 and though Striebel was a good teacher and gave good feedback. He didn't require attendance and was happy to have students to leave early if our work for his class was done. It was definitely tough, and a lot of work for a 2 credit class, and the final project was absolutely a grind. All that said, this classes focus on AutoCad helped me a ton at my summer internship which involved a lot of Civil 3D. Sure it can be rough, but JT really does prepare you for a lot of real world AutoCad skills.Rate My Professors ↗
JT is awesome, he's hilarious and does a really good job at being personable. He also knows his way around drafting and AutoCAD really well and can always help you if you get stuck. the class can get homework intensive but nothing is too difficult, generally HW is enjoyable and you can turn your brain off and knock it out. 10/10 would take againRate My Professors ↗
The class was pretty chill up until the end. He is helpful when you need it, you just have to ask. Homework can get done in the time you are in class, especially autocad. The final was nothing like we did in the homework and quizzes, and he was a little unclear with what he wanted us to do which made it frustrating.Rate My Professors ↗
