I'd definitely recommend taking his class if you can. Not much menial work - most of the grade is based on major papers and presentations. He provides examples of exactly what he does (and doesn't) expect for each assignment Dr. K's an extremely smart guy with a great sense of humor. Lectures seem to fly by. A lot of learning how to fine tune your writing to fit specific formats (memo, technical report, etc.). Grade is based on major presentations and papers. Very time consuming for major assignments, but there aren't many time consuming minor assignments. Very fair grader. Other prof take points off for grammarspelling. Dr. Kundert is a great professor. The class isn't hard but very time consuming. He gives great feedback and is a very fair grader. He tells you at the beginning of the semester if you don't put in the effort you won't do well. Assignments were clearly laid out, granted every extension I asked for. Grading was fair, an A is definitely doable if you put in effort. Make sure you practice for his presentations, he'll notice.
