Josh genuinely cares about his students succeeding. The class already isn't aggressively structured, so he is definitely open to being flexible if you really need it. I have never actively listened to a 75 min lecture until I joined this class. He is always open, honest, and leaves you with some great ideas and perspectives.Rate My Professors ↗
This was one of my favorite classes I ever took, and Prof Garoon was fantastic. He was also really caring, and made an effort to get to know as many students as he could. I'm just gonna say it: Josh is the best professor I've ever had and that's the tea. He is a genuinely good person who believes in radical progressive change and that is reflected in every discussion. I've hated all of the professors in previous sociology classes and Josh was the first one to change that direction. The lectures could be a lot of him talking but I was learning something new everyday. You'll definitely feel uncomfortable at moments but the genuine perspective you learn about the U.S. healthcare is priceless. Take this class.Rate My Professors ↗
