Jorge was awesome!! He was so fun and laid-back; he made a lot of jokes and kept class exciting! It's important to participate because he doesn't just give everyone 100% but for the bigger, harder assignments he gives students more leeway. Seriously he was great!Rate My Professors ↗
I loved Cienfuegos! He has a really cool name and even cooler personality. He is really easygoing, would make jokes, always ask if anyone wanted clarification, and did his best w/ the rigged Supersite online system. I had Jorge for Spanish 311 and he was great. The content of the class is boring because it focuses on grammar but Jorge went over the key points from each chapter during lecture. I rarely read the textbook, but you need it for homework and it's helpful for harder units. Grading was based on 3 essays and he looked for improvement in your writing.Rate My Professors ↗
Jorge is a funny guy and very laid-back. Lectures felt long and boring but that might've just been because I took this class at 8am. There were 3 papers for the semester and 1 assignment each week. The class is graded on whether or not you made progress over the semester, so you don't actually get any grades until the end of the semester.Rate My Professors ↗

I love him so much. The course material is pretty easy in itself but he creates a friendly and jovial atmosphere in class which makes talking in Spanish or saying the wrong things less intimidating. He is very hip and sassy but also kind and informative when you need help. He plays music videos at the end of class which is great to pack bags to!Rate My Professors ↗
