Great professor. He knew a lot about environmental issues and their links to political theory. Genuninely cares about his students and wants them to appreciate the issues we discussed. He heavily emphasizes class participation, which makes the classes feel pretty engaging.

Professor Schwartz was very nice, but he kind of reminded me of a substitute teacher at times. He asks a few questions to get discussion going, but then just lets the class take over for the rest of the time. He grades very easy. This class wasn't really what I thought it was going to be, but the people made it fun.

Professor Schwartz is very academic, which can be intimidating, but he is truly a nice guy. He questions everything and pushed you on your viewpoints. I learned a ton from his class and would strongly recommend him.
